Marian “Mari” Chadwick, MPAP, PA-C

Marian Chadwick

Mari Chadwick is a physician assistant/associate (PA). She received her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Research (BSCR) from Campbell University in 2009 and her Master of Physician Assistant Practice (MPAP) from Campbell University in 2014. Prior to working for the health department, Mari provided care in radiation oncology, cosmetic dermatology, and pediatrics. She also taught for the Gardner-Webb University PA program; she still lectures for PA programs and precepts PA students.

Mari joined the Henderson County Department of Public Health as an Advanced Practice Provider in July 2022. She is currently completing her Doctor of Medical Science degree (DMSc) and Perinatal Mental Health certification (PMH-C). She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants (NCAPA), and Association of Physician Associates in Obstetrics and Gynecology (APAOG). Mari also serves as treasurer for APAOG and serves on the APAOG Education Committee.

Her professional interests include maternal mental health care, adolescent eating disorder prevention, and evidence-based medicine.
