Back to School Vaccine Clinics
The Henderson County Department of Public Health is hosting after-school vaccine clinics to help all students ages 5 to 18 get caught up on required school immunizations.
Details
- Dates: September 2, 4, 9, and 11
- Time: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Location: Henderson County Health Department, 1200 Spartanburg Highway, Hendersonville
- Appointments: Not required. Walk-ins only, first-come, first-served.
Who should come?
Students ages 5–18 who need any required North Carolina school immunizations or are missing doses.
What to bring?
- An insurance or Medicaid card for your child
- Immunization record if your child received vaccines outside North Carolina
- A photo ID for the parent or guardian, if available
Cost
- We bill insurance or Medicaid when available.
- No insurance? Eligible children can receive vaccines at no cost through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program.
What to expect?
- Families will be checked in and seen in order of arrival.
- A nurse will review your child’s vaccine record and discuss which vaccines are due.
- The clinic location is accessible through the Immunizations Entrance.
- Language assistance is available upon request. Please let staff know when you arrive.
