Code Enforcement Information
The Code Enforcement Department is responsible for Zoning Enforcement, Nuisance Enforcement, Minimum Housing Enforcement, and Solid Waste Enforcement in unincorporated areas of Henderson County. Each municipality in the county handles code enforcement within its respective municipal boundaries.
The department has the authority to investigate ordinance violations in the county and issue fines for violations. Recurrent code violations on a single property can result in the county taking action to correct the code violation.
Reporting an Issue
