The EAC adopted Berkeley Road through NCDOT's Adopt-A-Highway program. This ~2 mile stretch of road connects provides trail access to the Oklawaha Greenway and also connects Main Street to Berkeley Park. The EAC organizes clean up days twice per year along the road, typically in the Fall and Spring to align with the NCDOT "Litter Sweep" events. More information about Litter Sweep can be found on the NCDOT website.
If you are interested in volunteering during a future litter clean-up, email Paulina Jones ([email protected]) to learn more.
