Property Tax Bill

The Henderson County Tax Collector is responsible for the collection of all real property, personal property, and business personal property taxes. Henderson County has one of the highest tax collection rates of any county in the State of North Carolina.

Essential Office Functions: The Tax Collector is responsible for the collection of ad valorem property taxes for Henderson County, thirteen fire districts located within the county, The City of Hendersonville, The Town of Laurel Park, and the portion of The City of Saluda located within Henderson County.

As of July 1, 2019,
Henderson County now bills and collects property taxes for the City of Hendersonville and the Town of Laurel Park.

Tax bills include both Henderson County taxes and the municipality tax on one combined bill.

All bills are payable to Henderson County Tax Collector. Please see bill for all payment options.

The Town of Fletcher, Mills River, and Flat Rock will still bill and collect their property taxes independently.
