Senior Games & Silver Arts 2026

Games to be held April and May 2026

Registration Lunch: March 4th from 11:30am-1:00pm at the Veterans Service (VFW).  RSVP by February 25th by calling (828) 697-4884 or email recreation@hendersoncountync.gov.

General Info - 

Four Seasons Senior Games/SilverArts is organized by Henderson County Parks and Recreation and is sanctioned through NC Senior Games.  NC Senior Games website. Participants across the State of NC enjoy participating in the LOCAL SENIOR GAMES.  Those that qualify at their Local Games are invited to attend STATE FINALS in the fall.  Every two years, State Finals winners can qualify to represent North Carolina at the NATIONAL SENIOR GAMES.  2026 is a National Qualifying year!!

Registration fee of $16 covers most all of the events.  Three events have an additional fee to be paid at the venue (Bowling $12, Mini Golf $3, and Golf $50).  Participants can participate in as many events as he/she would like. The Silver Arts event provides a Gallery Walk, Performances and a dinner in which the Silver Arts participant and a plus one eat for free.  All other spectators must pay for their dinner (tickets can be purchased at Henderson County Parks and Recreation in person or by calling 828-697-4884 by April 3rd.)

Eligibility

Open to adults 50 years of age and better.  Age on December 31, 2026 will determine the category in which the athlete and/or artist will compete.  Participants will compete against others of their own gender and age group.  Participants must be a Henderson County resident for a minimum of three consecutive months of the year.
