Apple Country Public Transit

Apple Country Public Transit

All routes & paratransit are free through June 30, 2026!

Henderson County encourages everyone to try Apple Country Public Transit. Apple Country Public Transit (ACPT) provides bus service throughout Hendersonville, Fletcher, and Laurel Park. Three (3) bus routes run from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (exceptions include holidays and severe weather). Routes 1 (White) and 2 (Red) run on a 1-hour cycle, and Route 3 (Blue) runs on a 90-minute cycle. See the maps at the bottom of this webpage for timetables. Routes originate from the Transfer Station, located at the corner of 4th and Grove Street in downtown Hendersonville (next to the 1995 Henderson County Courthouse). Henderson County contracts with WNCSource (formerly WCCA/Western Carolina Community Action) to provide transit and paratransit services.
