Be a Litter Sweep Warrior!

Help keep Henderson County clean and litter free by volunteering during the NCDOT Spring's Litter Sweep initiative. Participants can volunteer to pick up trash during NCDOT's Spring Litter Sweep from April 13th-27th. Participants should coordinate with NCDOT for litter pick up supplies, location, and trash pick up. Visit ncdot.gov/littersweep for more information.

What is the NC Litter Sweep and when is it?

Litter Sweep is the N.C. Department of Transportation’s biannual statewide roadside litter removal initiative. Residents throughout the state participate in local efforts to help clean up North Carolina's roadways. ​Traditionally scheduled for the last two weeks of April and September.
