1 - Right of Way (ROW) Debris Removal
The last day Henderson County residents were allowed to place Helene Debris on the roadside was Thursday, May 1, 2025.
If you have Hurricane Helene storm related debris that has not been picked up and was placed prior to May 1, 2025, please email helene-info@hcem.org with you name, address and type of storm debris to be picked up so our team can collect your debris.
2 - Private Property Debris Removal (PPDR) and Demolition
The deadline to sign up for the PPDR program is Thursday, July 31, 2025.
Owners who cannot take their debris to the right of way (ROW) for pickup and who do not have debris removal insurance or have inadequate debris removal insurance, may apply to have qualified disaster debris removed from their property for FREE through the Private Property Debris Removal (PPDR) Program. The program also covers the demolition of eligible unsafe structures.
