Juvenile Crime Prevention Council, Henderson County (JCPC)

The advisory board is tasked with assessing the needs of at-risk juveniles and the resources available to support them, developing an annual funding plan for juvenile justice programs, and submitting it to the Board of Commissioners for approval and to the Office of Juvenile Justice. The board also works to raise public awareness about the causes of delinquency, create strategies to prevent and address juvenile delinquency, allocate funding for treatment, counseling, and rehabilitation services for youth and their families, and plan for sustainable, long-term funding for delinquency prevention efforts.
Regular Meeting Schedule: Monthly on the 4th Thursday at 8:30 a.m. in the meeting room at Hendersonville Police Department - 630 Ashe Street.
