Design Progress: Approximately 30% complete
- Preliminary roadway design completed
- Geotechnical field work completed as of May 2, 2025 (except for one new site added recently)
- Awaiting geotechnical slope stability analysis for final recommendations
- Field survey at Ozone Drive intersection underway; hydraulic design to follow
- Drainage improvement at Ozone Drive intersection added to project scope
- Potential wall overlap with Pearson Falls bridge project under review
Surveys & Environmental:
- Final surveys delivered to TGS (initial surveys by WSP; remaining by TGS)
- Archaeology and Architecture - NSR received 2/6/2025
- Other environmental surveys (plant, bat, aquatic, 401/404 permits, Env. Doc)-pending
- Trout moratorium waived (1/1-5/15) if needed; maintain roadside parking
- Area includes State Conservation Easement (Pacolet Conservation)
