To establish rules by which function and procedures for receiving and processing requests from the public for information, to develop a Comprehensive Emergency Response Plan which includes a section developed in accordance with Section 303 of the EPCRA, to review annually, and update as necessary, the Emergency Plan, to receive and retain reports and other information from facilities subject to the requirements of the EPC, to provide public access to information and documents, subject to required limitation, in accordance with the EPCRA and established procedures of the EPC, to publish annually a notice in local newspapers as required by Section 324 of the EPCRA, to provide an Annual Report to the Board of Commissioners and the NCERC, and to perform other lawful tasks and duties as assigned.

Meeting Schedule: Quarterly, beginning in January, on the 2nd Thursday at noon.
