Engagement and Administrative Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities: The Engagement and Administrative Coordinator serves as the public "front door" of the TDA for visitors and stakeholders, providing a warm, organized, and consistent experience while routing inquiries to the appropriate staff or contractor. The Engagement and Administrative Coordinator ensures that the Hendersonville Welcome Center operates at a professional, people-first standard while also supporting the TDA team with administrative and partner-facing tasks as directed by the Deputy Director. The position combines operations (Welcome Center staffing, volunteers, data, brand, space, training) with support functions (triage and administrative assistance).

 

Qualifications:  Strong organizational and communication skills; proven ability to balance multiple priorities with a professional demeanor; Service-oriented experience (visitor-facing or customer service) preferred; Knowledge of Hendersonville and Henderson County attractions and businesses; Ability to coordinate training, maintain SOPs, and uphold service standards; Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required; Administrative skills, including phone/email outreach, data entry, and recordkeeping; Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn TDA systems; Event support or logistical coordination experience preferred; Team player who can take assignments from peers under the direction of the Deputy Director
