Human Services Planner/Evaluator 2
Duties and Responsibilities: The primary purpose of the position is to plan with Social Work Program Administrator and Social Work Program Manager’s, Human Services Planner III and administer a Quality Assurance Program across Henderson County Social Work Programs in order to meet or exceed federal and state outcome measures and overall improve service delivery to families and citizens of Henderson County. This position will perform quality assurance case record reviews providing recommendations for program and/or process improvement within Child Welfare and Adult Services programs; assist with identifying systemic training needs and developing annual training plans for units as needed ; assist in leading service area efforts to manage and complete Continuous Quality Improvement Plans; assist with onboarding of new staff, staff retention, and initial Child Welfare training; comply with other duties that may be assigned to this position by the Director or Social Work Program Administrator.
Qualifications: (Planner) Master’s degree in public or human services administration or a human services programmatic field preferably with course work in human services planning and one year of experience in human service program planning or administration; or graduation from a four-year college or university and three years of administrative or consultative experience in human service program; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
(Evaluator) Master’s degree in the field of psychology, sociology or social work and one year of experience in research and evaluation using statistical methodologies in human service programs; or graduation from a four-year college or university and three years’ experience in research, evaluation and statistical application in the human service field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required NC Child Welfare Pre-Service training and/or Adult Protective Services: Basic Skills.
Preferred training Medical Aspects; Legal Aspects; Cultural Competency; Placement training; Investigations/Assessment training; Intake training; In-Home training; Documentation training; LINKS training; Foster Care 18-21 training; Foster Home Licensing training; Adult Protective Services training Module 1&2, APS In-Home training; Adult Guardianship training; APS Facilities training; experience in program evaluation in North Carolina through CFSR; IV-E and SSBG; Adoption Assistance and KinGAP; NCCW State monitoring tools; Adult program monitoring.
