FALL Youth Soccer 2024

We would like to thank all of our volunteer coaches for an outstanding Spring Soccer Season. We could not have this league without the many parent volunteer coaches who give up their valuable time to coach a team. In addition, we would like to thank all of our volunteer referees who helped make our Spring Season a huge success.

Registration for the 2024 Fall Henderson County Youth Soccer League will begin on June 3rd, 2024 and will run through July 28, 2024. Early registration is $75 and that cost includes the soccer jersey provided by HCPRD. Late Registration ($85) will begin on July 29, 2024 and will run through August 4, 2024. Parents who wish to coach this Fall will need to contact Jason Powell at 828-697-4884 or email at jpowell@hendersoncountync.gov

Practices will start the week of August 19th and games begin on September 7th and all games are played at Jackson Park. Below are the game dates for the upcoming season:

Septmeber 7, 14, 21, 28

October 5 (no games due to Farm City Festival), 12, 19, 26

November 2 (makeup day)

**Each parent must turn in a copy of their child's birth certificate to front office before your child will be placed on a team this Fall. A copy of your child's birth certificate can be emailed to recreation@hendersoncountync.gov or dropped off to our administrative office located at 708 S. Grove Street.

NEW MIDDLE SCHOOL RECREATIONAL ADVANCED LEAGUE

We will be offering a new Recreational Advanced League for Middle School participants who play for their Middle School teams beginning this Fall. The Recreational Advanced League is only for Middle School Students who play for their Middle School teams. These students will no longer be eligible for the Middle School Recreational Division. Below is a breakdown of both of our Middle School Divisions for girls and boys and who is eligible for each division beginning this Fall 2024.

FALL RECREATIONAL DIVISION:

*All rising 6/7/8 graders who do not play on their Middle School Team must register for the 2024 Fall Spring Recreational League.

*Any girls who played on their Middle School Team as a 6^th grader in the Spring of 2024 can choose to participate in either of the two leagues this Fall.

*Any boy who makes their Middle School Team as a 6^th grader in the Fall of 2024 can choose to participate in either of the two leagues this Fall.

FALL RECREATIONAL ADVANCED DIVISION:

*All Rising 8^th grade girls who played on their Middle School Team in the Spring of 2024 are only eligible for the Recreational Advanced League this Fall.

*All Rising 7^th grade girls who played for their Middle School team as a 6^th grader in the Spring of 2024 can choose to participate in either of the two leagues this Fall.

*All Rising 7^th and 8^th grade boys who make their Fall Middle School Team will be eligible to participate in the Recreational Advanced League this Fall.

*All Rising 6^th grade boys who make their Fall Middle School Team can choose to participate in either of the two leagues this Fall.

We are now seeking soccer referees for the Fall Season. If you are currently playing soccer or have playing experience and would like to stay connected to and give back to the game this is a great opportunity. To be considered, you must be 16 years of age or older and will be subject to a background check and drug test. Referee pay ranges from $15-$21 an hour.
