Bringing the Library to You!

Our Mission

The Mobile Library supports the library’s mission to engage the community through experiences and services that educate minds and enrich lives. By offering Mobile services, the library extends its services to Henderson County residents beyond our existing physical locations.

Mobile Library Resources and Services

• Books, CD audiobooks, and DVDs for all ages
• Free Wi-fi
• Assistance connecting to digital resources
• Information about library programs and events

Henderson County residents can apply for a library card or renew their existing cards on-site. Please note that items on the Mobile Library cannot be placed on hold, and hold pickup is not available on the Mobile Library at this time.  

What does the Mobile Library offer?

• Recently published fiction and nonfiction books, DVDs, and CD audiobooks
• Spanish/Bilingual books 
• Young adult fiction books 
• Picture books, easy readers, and chapter books for children 
• Large print books

For the most up-to-date information about where the Mobile Library will be, please refer to the Calendar below. Please note that the Mobile Library schedule may be affected by weather-related closures.

Mobile Library at your location

To request a visit by the Mobile Library, please use the applicable form below. Stops at non-educational sites must be non-profit, community-centered events or in areas not currently served by library resources. Priority is given to underserved locations and community events.
