Maintenance Technician III

Duties and Responsibilities: This position performs skilled level Maintenance functions requiring advanced knowledge and experience with Facilities/ Industrial maintenance. This position also Performs expert level, highly skilled/technical repairs, Preventive Maintenance (PM), and Predictive Maintenance (PDM) tasks on County mechanical, electrical, and control equipment.  Work is performed under regular supervision.

 Qualifications:  Candidate must be expertly proficient in the field of HVAC, electrical or control trades; must be skilled in the use of computers and electronic tablets with BAS systems; works safely in low and high electrical voltage environments; skilled in use of, tools and procedures to efficiently perform repairs, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance operations; desire and ability to embrace new technology and programs; skilled in the use of tools and equipment in skilled maintenance work; ability to safely and efficiently operate a motor vehicle; attends work regularly; Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a certificate, degree, or diploma in HVAC, electrical, control fields, Building automation, Facility or Industrial Maintenance.
