SR 1151 - Green River Cove Road

 Design Progress: Approximately 50% complete

• Preliminary roadway design completed along the river section
• Switchback section design pending final geotechnical recommendations (expected this month)
• Geotech borings ~80% complete along the river; ~25% in switchback areas (delayed earlier by wildfires)
• Hydro completed for 50% of the river section; remaining hydro to be completed by end of May
• Final survey delivered to TGS (initial surveys by WSP); TGS completing additional survey
• Sites 423-425 removed (work covered by maintenance contract)
• Outstanding items: permit needs, utility relocations, CE requirements, ROW impacts at major pipe crossings under review
• NRTR being handled by NCDOT
