Temporary Digitization Assistant

Located  in the mountains of beautiful Western North Carolina, Henderson County is currently recruiting to fill two (2) temporary grant-funded position to digitize the Baker-Barber Collection of photographs and prints. Temporary assignment to encompass 15 hours per week for a maximum of 50 weeks. Some schedule flexibility available. This position is not benefit eligible. 

Requires high school graduation or equivalency; familiarity with digital preservation practices; some experience with scanning prints and negatives using archival standards preferred.  Pre-employment drug test and background checks required of finalist applicants.
