STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA                                                  BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

COUNTY OF HENDERSON                                                                                          JANUARY 10, 2007

 

Members of the Henderson County Board of Commissioners and staff met for a drive to Durham North Carolina. The purpose of this meeting was to tour an Elementary School in Durham.

 

Attending from Henderson County were: Chairman William L. Moyer, Commissioner Larry Young, Commissioner Chuck McGrady, and Assistant County Manager Selena Coffey.

 

Attending from the Board of Public Education were: Chairman Ervin Bazzle, Vice-Chair Melissa Mauer, School Board members Mary Louise Corn, Jane Orwoll, and Lisa Edwards, as well as some school staff.

 

SCHOOL VISITS

The above attendees toured the following school facility:

 

W.G. Pearson Elementary School located @ 600 East Umstead Street, Durham, NC.

 

Following the tours, attendees traveled back to Hendersonville.
